The wait is almost over. Apple is set to host its annual event on September 9th at Apple Park, where the highly anticipated iPhone 17 series will be unveiled. The invites have officially been rolled out for the event.
The new lineup is rumored to include four models: the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a new, ultra-thin model, the iPhone 17 Air, which is said to replace the "Plus" model. All four devices are expected to be powered by the new A19 chip, promising a significant boost in performance and efficiency.
Camera systems are also receiving a major overhaul, with all models getting a new 24-megapixel front-facing camera. The Pro models, in particular, are rumored to feature a new, redesigned camera bar with a triple-lens setup. Another key upgrade for the entire lineup is the expected inclusion of ProMotion displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, a feature previously reserved for the Pro models.
Beyond the iPhones, the event is also set to bring new hardware, including the AirPods Pro 3 and the Apple Watch Series 11, rounding out a packed keynote that will shape Apple's product ecosystem for the year ahead.

Tipster Majin Bu says that the company may bring Crossbody Strap, designed primarily for iPhone 17 cases.The upcoming Crossbody Strap is said to feature a flexible metal core to make it fully magnetic along its entire length. Rings at the ends will be polarized opposite to the strap, locking the system firmly for a strong grip. This design makes attaching and removing easy without using hooks or loops, offering a practical option for iPhone 17 cases.The leakster adds that the strap could also be compatible with AirPods Pro 3, expanding its range of uses. The report also shares samples of the upcoming strap which shows a woven nylon body, similar to that used in Sport Loop Bands. Apple may introduce a silicone variant as well. The upcoming iPhone accessory is rumoured to be offered in multiple colour options.
