According to reports, the accident occurred around 10:19 AM on Saturday morning near Madh Island, shortly after Hamza Khan, a driver employed by Krishiv Automobile, picked up the car from Abhinav’s residence for a routine check-up.
Shockingly, within just 5 minutes of pickup, the car was smashed badly in a single-vehicle crash, raising serious concerns about negligence and lack of accountability by the service center. Eyewitnesses claim the driver fled the scene immediately after the collision, leaving the vehicle behind in a wrecked condition.
When Abhinav Mishra and his team contacted the service center, they were reportedly met with apathy and denial. Javed Shaikh, the Branch Manager, and Vipul, Vice President of Krishiv Automobile, later refused to take responsibility for the damages or arrange repairs under company policy.
The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with fans and followers of Abhinav demanding justice and accountability. Legal action is now being considered, as questions arise over the protocols followed by MG’s authorized service centers, including driver verification, insurance handling, and customer communication.
Abhinav Mishra, visibly distressed, stated in a short message:
“I trusted an authorized service center with my car for a simple check-up, and now it's in a completely damaged state. The driver ran away, and the company is refusing to take any responsibility. This is unacceptable.”
Further developments are awaited as the influencer is reportedly preparing to file an FIR and take legal recourse. Meanwhile, MG Motors India has yet to issue any official statement.
